Frequently Asked Questions
How do I travel with PAP?

Traveling with your PAP device is easy with some proper preparation.

If you are planning on flying with your PAP device, take it as a carry on item. Never check your PAP device as normal luggage handling procedures can easily cause damage to it.  Today’s PAP equipment is small and lightweight and easy to travel with. It may be beneficial for you to call ahead and ask your airline what their policy is for carry on medical equipment.

If you are planning to drive across country or go camping take your PAP device along. Most PAP devices depending on the make and model have the ability to run off of 12V power supply. Most PAP devices are able to run off either a battery or can be plugged into a cigarette lighter in your car or RV if you have the proper cables or adaptors.
